Master wooden boat builder Olivier D. Huin is back with his crew of Arctic explorers, this time with a much bolder challenge. To take on the legendary Northwest Passages in his hand-built wooden boat; Breskell. In order to succeed the crew will have to brave 5,000 miles of Arctic storms, polar bears and a constantly moving maze of thick arctic sea ice. Despite 500 years of people trying, only a handful of wooden boats have ever successfully made the trip.
From the same team that created the multi-award winning Disko. Stunning imagery and emotive storytelling throughout, with a beautiful original score from Theo Whitworth.

BRESKELL DOCUMENTARY TRAILER
Breskell is a medium form doc that I worked on for Patagonia. It was such an incredible experience sailing through the Arctic with Olivier, and the crew and I still regularly keep in touch. There was no room on board for extra film crew so it was just me and an experienced sailor as my assistant.
